Our Team.

Omari founded Power Town CIC after more than 20 years working in youth creative development across Bristol. A filmmaker, producer and community advocate, he built the organisation from a grassroots youth group into a registered CIC with a national profile. He leads the strategic vision and day-to-day operations.

Kassim brings expertise in business development and community enterprise. With a background spanning social enterprise and commercial strategy, he supports Power Town CIC in building sustainable partnerships and income streams that keep the organisation independent and community-led.

Valerie is an experienced educator and safeguarding specialist with decades of work in Bristol schools and youth services. She ensures that Power Town CIC's programmes are trauma-informed, inclusive and held to the highest standards of care for the young people and vulnerable adults we serve.

Kevin brings a wealth of experience in creative industries and cultural production. His background in music, events and brand partnerships helps Power Town CIC bridge the gap between community talent and professional industry opportunities, opening doors that would otherwise remain closed.

Sekani is a legal and governance professional who ensures Power Town CIC operates with full transparency and accountability. He advises on compliance, organisational structure and the legal frameworks that protect both the organisation and the communities it serves.

Andre brings extensive experience in music production, mentoring and creative development. Through his work with Power Town CIC, he supports emerging artists and young people to build confidence, skills and industry knowledge. His approach combines practical music education with artist development and community engagement, creating accessible pathways from grassroots creativity into professional opportunities.
